I have a '01 Savage and put a Jardine on it 2 months ago. I live in Nevada at about 4300 feet elevation. I've been told that cuz of where I live that these machines have a tendency to run a little rich - who knows. Although I haven't gotten much riding in (about 300 miles) since the Jardine install due to the interesting Spring weather, I really haven't seen a big change in backfire of throttle response. I'm gonna check the plug as soon as my service is complete next week and see but so far - I've got no complaints. Hope this helps. Be safe...Chris
